The full title of this post should be "Twilight: Why I Liked it and Why I Don't Anymore"
I started reading Twilight when I was about 16. I was still in high school and it wasn't really a phenomenon yet. When I recommended it to my friends, none had ever heard of it. Now everyone knows what Twilight is and that it's pretty garbage and poor writing. Dear Stephenie Meyer: why did you write such garbage?
Why I liked it:
1) I was 16
2) I was hormonal
3) I was sexually repressed
Now I'm almost 21, not 16, and much less hormonal. Now I can recognize Twilight as garbage.
Here's a parody that I want to read and will own in the semi-near future.

You explained this very well. I agree. And I want to read that book too.
