Can't Sleep, Don't Sleep

I have trouble sleeping, as many people do. My issue isn't that I don't fall asleep or that I wake up all night or whatever. As I've mentioned before I have problems with nightmares and bad, stressful dreams that leave me exhausted even after a full night of sleep.

Last night was no exception. I don't remember all the details of my dream, but I woke up whimpering (yes, whimpering, shut up) and exhausted. Somehow there were explosives around and there was no way to dismantle them and get them anywhere. Because it was a dream and dreams don't make sense the only way to keep people from being injured (we were in the middle of some random neighborhood) was to cover the bombs with your body. Two boys from my ward (Tyler and Kevin) volunteered and somehow I did. Then the person who set the bombs suddenly showed up and shot me, one of the boys, and Jimmer Fredette (who was volunteering too, apparently) in the stomach. I woke up as we all lay curled around the bombs waiting for them to go off and bleeding to death.

Seven and a half hours of sleep, no rest.

Bad Dreams and Nightmares

I have nightmares on a regular basis. Well, not nightmares actually, more bad dreams. Frequently they are just situations that are so stressful that my rest is not at all restful. I think I may have mentioned this problem before (as a matter of fact, I'm having some severe deja vu as I type this post, so sorry if I've said the same exact thing previously). The point of all this is I've decided to make a list for you, lovely readers, of the things that most often invade my bad dreams.

1. The inability to get somewhere on time.
2. Being trapped (by someone).
3. Finding myself in a dangerous situation and not being able to scream.
4. Being threatened with a gun.
5. Voldemort.

There are definitely all kinds of other things that choose to invade my mind during my supposedly restful hours. Now, you can go ahead and start making fun of me for number 5.

Letters (of the Alphabet)

I have a genetic disorder that will not let my brain shut up when I want to go to sleep, especially when I really need to sleep (like last night when I was doing stuff until 3:30am).  So, I started thinking about letters, starting with J.  I won't try to follow my string of consciousness back to why I started with J, but that's what happened.

Then, because I'm nuts, I started figuring out how to spell out each letter (for example: jay, kay, and el).  Then I got frustrated.  How would you spell out H?  I figured all of them out except for stupid H, so I turn it over to you.
